ProxyNest is an anti-censorship software for secure and fast Internet access that utilizes HTTPS Proxy and Fteproxy technology to provide you with uncensored access to Internet content. Your ProxyNest client will automatically learn about new servers to maximize your chances of bypassing censorship.

What is the HTTP Proxy?

A proxy or proxy server is basically another computer which serves as a hub through which internet requests are processed. By connecting through one of these servers, your computer sends your requests to the proxy server which then processes your request and returns what you want. This way it serves as an intermediary between your home machine and the rest of the computers on the internet.

HTTP tunneling is a technique by which communications performed using various network protocols are encapsulated via the HTTP protocol, the network protocols usually belonging to the TCP/IP family of protocols. The HTTP protocol therefore acts as a wrapper for a channel that the network protocol being tunneled uses to communicate.

The HTTP stream with its covert channel is termed an HTTP tunnel.

HTTP tunnel software consists of client-server HTTP tunneling applications that integrate with existing application software, permitting them to be used in conditions of restricted network connectivity including firewalled networks, networks behind proxy servers, and network address translation.

Why Use the ProxyNest?

If you want to surf the web anonymously then ProxyNest can provide you with a means to hide your home IP address from the rest of the world. By connecting to the internet through ProxyNest, the home IP address of your machine will not be shown but rather the IP of the server will be presented. This will provide you with more privacy than connecting directly to the internet. On the other hand, ProxyNest protects your security while on a public WiFi. It provides you a tunneling software for free browsing on PC computers.

What is the Fteproxy Software ?

Fteproxy provides transport-layer protection to resist keyword filtering, censorship and discriminatory routing policies. Its job is to relay datastreams, such as web browsing traffic, by encoding streams as messages that match a user-specified regular expression. It is fast, free, open source, and cross platform.

Format-Transforming Encryption (FTE) is a novel cryptographic primitive that extends traditional encryption. Traditional cryptographic primitives take a key and a message as input, and output an unformatted ciphertext. FTE takes a key, a message and a format (a compact set descriptor) as input and outputs a ciphertext in the format set. As an example, a format may describe the set of valid messages from an uncensored protocol, such as HTTP.
